Senior Pastor & First Lady

Rev. Darius C. C. Knuckles serves as the Senior Pastor of Harvest Intercontinental Church–Charlotte, formerly known as Bethel World Outreach Church–Charlotte. The church is part of Harvest Intercontinental Ministries Unlimited (HIMU), a global network of more than 450 churches spanning six continents—Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Canada, and North and South America, under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Darlingston G. Johnson and Pastor Chrys Johnson, with its global headquarters in Olney, Maryland. Rev. Knuckles’ journey with Harvest began in 1987 in Monrovia, Liberia, where he completed a two-year certificate program in Biblical Studies at the Monrovia Bible Training Center, while simultaneously earning his Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Liberia. Rev. Knuckles has been actively involved in leadership development and ministry training since 1989 when he worked as a licensed minister with Living Water Teaching Ministry. He was then licensed by Harvest Intercontinental Ministry Unlimited (HIMU), formerly, Bethel World Outreach Ministries International in 1992 and ordained in 1996, demonstrating a lifelong commitment to equipping others for effective service in God's kingdom.

From 2010 to July 2025, he faithfully served as the National Secretary for the US District of HIMU. Rev. Darius Knuckles serves as the Diocesan Director for Theological Education, Spiritual Formation, and Credentialing for the 6th Diocese which comprise of North and South America, Canada, Australia, and Europe. Rev. Knuckles also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology and a Master of Arts in Healthcare Chaplaincy. He is married to his partner in ministry, Elder M. Comfort Knuckles. He is blessed with seven children and four grandchildren. His lifelong ministry reflects an unwavering commitment to loving God, faithfully serving His people with compassion, and a steadfast dedication to advancing His Kingdom.                                                                           

Lady Comfort Knuckles, an Elder and a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), serves alongside her husband Senior Pastor Darius Knuckles, as the Director of Events and Planning of Harvest Intercontinental Church, Charlotte.
